Lactic acid, a powerful AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) exfoliant, effectively sloughs off dead skin cells, resurfacing fresh, radiant skin underneath. Gluconolactone, a mild PHA (poly hydroxy acid), is similar to AHA, but more suitable for sensitive skin due to its larger molecular size.

Betaine salicylate is a form of beta hydroxy acid (BHA), combining salicylic acid and betaine, a moisturizing compound derived from sugar beets to neutralize irritation. It is categorized as a mild exfoliant, acne treatment, and helps improve uneven skin tone and texture. How to use:

Put index and middle fingers into finger mitt and gently wipe across cleansed face and neck. Follow with treatment serum or moisturizer. For daytime use, always follow with sunscreen for UVA/UVB protection.
